If you're tired of the stupid modern chest-high wall modern FPS... if you find yourself booting up quake or doom 2 and find yourself getting far too much satisfaction from blasting demons with a double barrel shotgun... Doom is for you.
It's not perfect, but it is fun; very fun. And challenging!

Watch it, it's a laugh and a half.
I haven't touched the multiplayer, but the single player is worth the cost of entry... there's some replay value exploring the levels and messing with the different weapons. The harder difficulties are actually really difficult and you really have to move to survive...
If you've stayed away because you can't imagine doom being remade in the modern age; you're wrong. Play it.
